Rainbow Ridge is owned and operated by Elena Abbene. Elena has been competing at the highest levels for over 20 years. Elena maintains a string of competition horses and she continues to compete actively. Elena specializes in training horses and riders of all levels. Rainbow Ridge has an excellent reputation as a breeding, training, and boarding facility. Here are some of Elena's accomplishments:

• Trained with Olympic Medallists Joe Fargis, Conrad Homfeld, Anne Kursinski, and Norman Dello Joio.
• Invited five years in a row to train with the United States Equestrian team at USET Headquarters.
• Showed Jumpers and Hunters successfully on the A Show Circuit from 1980's to present time.
• Participated in the 1993 Olympic Festival
• Placed Second in the 1990 Rolex USET Talent Derby (Placed in two other Derbies)
• Won a Bronze medal at the 1989 Olympic Festival
• National Prix de States Team Champion
• Reserve Junior Jumper Champion (Zone 2)
• Qualified for three National Young Riders Championship Categories: Junior Jumper, Small Junior Hunter, Large Pony Hunter.
• Won Championships in three Long Island High Score Awards
• Qualified for the Medal & Maclay
• Many Placing's in the Grand Prix and Open Jumper divisions.
